Gamers are likely familiar with the jaw-dropping Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, and fans were in for a special treat at the recent 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show. The luxury car manufacturer rose to fame with the Bugatti Veyron, powered by a 16-cylinder turbocharged engine with some versions reaching a top speed of 250 miles per hour. Now, it seems that the snazzy speed demon of virtual Gran Turismo fame is the inspiration for a future model.
A real-life version of the Bugatti Vision was unveiled in Frankfurt, and it's a car that puts the focus on performance instead of comfort like in the popular video game. As the head of the company Wolfgang Dürheimer notes, “Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo is the first stage on a new journey that Bugatti is embarking on following the successful completion of its Veyron chapter." Although the public isn't privy to an actual release date, Dürheimer teased it will happen "in the not too distant future."
