Hyundai's Vision G: Luxury to the Max

Although you probably don't instantly think "luxury car" when you hear "Los Angeles County Museum of Art," there is an undeniable connection between the two after the unveiling of Hyundai's Vision G there in August 2015. The Korean company has been trying to break into the luxury market with its Genesis and Equus sedans with limited success, but that may change with the advent of the Vision G - Hyundai's most upscale model to date. The Vision G could be a real competitor with established big dogs like the Mercedes S-Class Coupe and the BMW 6-Series.
The Hyundai Vision G has sleek yet muscular lines to the exterior, largely in thanks to input from the company's new-ish design chief Peter Schreyer. This luxury model doesn't just have the right look but the performance as well. Beneath its hood lies a 5.0-L Tau V8 engine that produces a more-than-respectible 420 hp and 383 lbs-ft of torque. That's why - after its debut at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art - the Vision G gained plenty of oohs and aahs when it made an appearance at the recent Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
