Lamborghini Teases "The Sky Will Never Be the Same"

In preparation for the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, Lamborghini has released an unusual teaser video. The video shows an open road in stormy weather when - bam - the text, "The sky will never be the same" appears. Since it's doubtful that the company has developed a flying car, this odd assertion has Lamborghini and supercar enthusiasts excitedly discussing what it means.

Last month, the company unveiled the Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster, so the general consensus is that the reference is not for that but for something entirely new. With the sky reference, whatever model is being teased is likely a convertible of some form. Otherwise, what does the sky have to do with anything?

One of the more viable possibilities is that Lamborghini has plans to release a new drop-top version of the Huracan Spyder, which had been tentatively slated for the 2016 Geneva Motor Show but could have realistically been hurried along for this year's event in Frankfurt. Another option is the hybrid supercar the company's CEO Stephan Winkelmann announced was in development last month. With the Frankfurt Motor Show fast approaching for September 15th, we will soon discover just what the Lamborghini fuss is all about.
